Gardens
Our thrift store sells merchandise from clothing to building supplies.  All monies raised go into the ministry to fund our many programs.
We are partnering with  Weis Markets and other organizations and individuals to help insure that no one in our communities go hungry.
Utilizing organic raised beds to grow vegetables, herbs and fruits that are planted, cared for and harvested by local volunteers. The gardens will supplement the food pantry, soup kitchen and community volunteers.

Projects

Soup
Kitchen
Greenhouses
Within the next year or so we hope to renovate our kitchen so that we can offer a warm meal once a day to families in need.

In the meantime, we will be offering a soup ministry once a month.
We have acquired a two greenhouses that will house an aquaponics system, citrus trees and plants.  We hope to supplement the food pantry during the winter months, for starting
new plants for the gardens and have plants to sell to raise additional funds.
Fuel
Bank
Winters in Pennsylvania can be brutal and many stuggle through the winter months to provide adequate heat in their homes.  They often have to choose between food, medicine and heat.  We seek to be able to assist those in need with a fuel grant to warm them through
this time.
Lending
Library
We are actively collecting books and videos for our new lending library.  People will be able to sit and enjoy a good book in our comfortable sitting area.
They will also be able to borrow them to entertain them in the privacy of their own home.
Fruit
Orchard
The honeybees have already arrived and are busy producing raw honey.  Apples, peaches,
pears, plums and cherry trees will dot the landscape.  Blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, grapes and strawberries will help feed the community with the freshest of fruits for years to come.
Education
Education is so important in helping others.  There are so many people within our communities that have so much to share and to teach.  Can you
teach someone to garden, to cook or can, to fish, to repair plumbing or how to use a computer?  Would you like to learn something new?
Emergency Help

From time to time, families are referred to us following a disasterous event or special need.  Do you know someone in need or do you want to help someone in need?

Other Projects
The number of projects often seems endless and overwhelming but when people come together, neighbors helping neighbors, nothing is impossible.  We welcome your ideas, your help and your prayers.

Ways to Give

We would like to invite anyone, no matter how old or how young, how strong or how weak, how rich or how poor you are, to

take the time to bless someone else so they in turn can be a blessing.

Do you have items that you no longer want or need?  We accept everything from clothing to building supplies.  These items are either sold to raise funds for the ministry or used to bless someone.

Donate food to the food pantry to help feed the families in our communities.

Do you want to help us financially?  As a 501(c)3 nonprofit charity your donation is tax deductible.  But more importantly, your support will help us to continue to

help others.
